Sheldon

His parents say:

Our son, Sheldon, is the happiest little guy you’ll ever meet! He has a rare genetic disorder called FOXG1 Syndrome which limits his brain development. He functions at the level of a 10 month old and is still learning to sit independently. He wants to sit so badly, and he has been in therapy for more than 12 years working on this skill. He is now sitting for 5 to 10 seconds at a time. While that doesn’t sound like much, he is beaming with pride the entire time!

When he’s not learning to sit, Sheldon spends his time playing with his toys, making noise, and warming the hearts of everyone he meets. He is truly a gift to our family and the entire world.”
