Margaret McMahon is a financial advisor who works with individuals, families, and business owners to help them navigate complex financial decisions with clarity and confidence. Her approach focuses on making financial planning more accessible, personalized, and grounded in real life.

Before transitioning into financial services, Margaret built her career in education, where she focused on helping students and families feel welcomed, supported, and equipped to navigate complex systems. She holds a Doctor of Education, and her dissertation centered on the development and implementation of individualized plans designed to support student success. Her research explored how thoughtful, personalized planning—rooted in data, relationship‑building, and clear communication—can drive better outcomes and sustained progress. This experience continues to shape how she works today: listening deeply, understanding goals and constraints, and building personalized plans that replace uncertainty with clarity and confidence.

As a working parent, Margaret understands how much families carry while navigating care, resources, and long‑term planning. She is deeply aligned with the mission of C.I.T.Y. of Support and is passionate about building communities where caregivers feel seen, supported, and connected. She believes that access to information, strong relationships, and practical guidance can make a meaningful difference in the lives of families facing complex circumstances.
