Sharon Moeykens has over a decade of experience in the hospitality industry at a prestigious 5 Diamond property. She brings a deep understanding of service, leadership, and people-first values. After transitioning from the corporate world to full-time parenting, Sharon continued to lead and serve—running children’s programming at her church, serving three years as PTO President at the local public school, and advocating for inclusive practices in both faith and educational settings.

As a mother of two young adults, including a daughter with disabilities, Sharon has  navigated the intricacies of diagnoses, hospitalizations, early intervention, IEPs, and transistion services, while colaborating care with a large medical team and therapists. Being a mother to a disabled daughter has deeply shaped her passion for advocacy and inclusion. Sharon’s lived experience inspired her to co-create an inclusion ministry for children with special needs, which ultimately led to her current role as Director of Lifelong Faith Formation. In this role, she works to ensure that people of all ages and abilities are welcomed and supported in their faith journey.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading, catching up with friends, finding peace in nature, especially while discovering handicap-accessible trails, and planning vacations that bring joy and connection to my family.

Sharon is committed to building compassionate, inclusive spaces where every individual is seen, valued, and supported. She is honored and excited to join C.I.T.Y. of Support as the organization takes its next steps toward creating a physical location with the mission

to connect and uplift caregivers of children in therapy. There is something powerful about finding people who truly understand the complexities of this journey—and Sharon is passionate about being part of that support system.
